Dear Sir: Millions of thanks and appreciation for the Hygiene team and the drill team who came to our rescue. We understand there are sponsor who helped bring this miracle to us and we want to be sure to say thank you to everyone involved. Our community has lacked a handpump for over 10 years, so this act of kindness is especially important to all of us. Thank you so much Joe Gono Town Chief |

Barclay Farm Weala community Quarter#2, is located along the highway leading from Kakata to Gbarnga on a high hill overlooking the highway. The villagers main source of water has been from shallow creeks and streams and a river that can be accessed across a busy highway. This is very dangerous for everyone, especially the children and there have been accidents as a result. The Health & Hygiene Workshop conducted for the people of Barclay Farm Quarter#2 on May 19, 2019. Lessons taught included how to domestically purify water through the chlorination process, good handwashing methods and instruction on keeping the living areas sanitary.
This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support! |
