A message from the community

Dear Sir:

As representative to the entire community, I extend to you everyone's thanksgiving for this new well.  We have suffered for lack of good water to drink and you have come to our rescue.  Thank you!

Now with the lessons from the workshop we know how to look after the new well and how to do all we can to keep the pump working and our environment clean.

Please accept our greetings and thanks and share them with all who have reached out a helping hand to us.

Stephen K Kollie

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Marshall City Quarter#4 is large city with a large population of women. This Quarter is also headed by Hon. Marcus George and with Pastor Stephen k. Williams as Assistant.

They lack safe drinking water with their main source of water being a nearby creek. The area is covered with many trees that shadows the town. The leadership of the community is doing well to keep their environment clean but a better source for the clean and safe water has been a long standing serious challenge.

The Health and Hygiene team was happily received by the community  leadership as the workshop was conducted to educate them on domestic water purification, training to maintain safe water for their consumption.

They promised to always keep their surrounding clean even more after the H N H training.

On behalf of people of Quarter#4, Hon. Marcus George again gave thanks and appreciation to the entire Lifewater Family and the sponsor for their good work and support from the Sponsor of this program.

This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
