This is a large community of over 800 people. About 600 will routinely access this new well for their water. Before this well, we would walk far and then wait a long time for our drinking water to another pump, a 45 min trip. Then it would be at least an hour before our turn came at the well and most went around 3 times every day for water. On top of that we pay on average 600 goudes every week for bagged water. Needless to say we are very excited to have our own well close to home |
