Obikim community in Ahero, Kisumu county did not have access to clean drinking water for weeks because the hand pump on their well stopped working. The residents would collect washing and drinking water from a distant river. However, Lifewater Canada rehabilitated the well, replaced its broken hand pump with a new one, and restored the grateful community's clean source of water. |
