A message from the community |

On behalf of Rweya School fraternity, I would like to thank you so much for rehabilitating the school borehole. Indeed this has given our borehole a new and better look. I believe it will ensure that the children enjoy uninterrupted supply of water from the borehole for even a longer time. Once again, thank you for what you have done for the school and we truly appreciate your dedicated team. ---Community Leaders |

Students at Rweya Primary School in Kisumu county would drink from dirty rivers and dams after the hand pump on their school well stopped working. This is because the water in the school well was inaccessible after its hand pumps failed. Recently, Lifewater Canada funded the rehabilitation of the well. The school well's old hand pump was replaced with a new one. The students at Rweya Primary School are now enjoying drinking clean and safe water from their rehabilitated school well. |
