A message from the community

On behalf of Ukasi Girls’ Secondary School, we wish to express our gratitude to Lifewater Canada for supporting the repair of our broken hand pump. We are blessed that our school is able to provide easily accessible clean water to students. May God bless you all.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Ukasi Girls Secondary School in Ukasi, Mwingi region, provides education and accommodation to over three hundred students. The students would collect clean water from their school, one which was drilled because of the support of Lifewater Canada. But for about a week, the well’s hand pump failed, making access to clean water a struggle. The administration would spend so much to buy water for use at the school. But thanks to you donors who once again came through for the students of Ukasi Girls’ Secondary School and funded the repair of the broken hand pump. Clean and safe water is now flowing in Ukasi Girls’ Secondary School.
