Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

For more than a year, the 500 children and adults living in Kanyajwanga had no access to safe water after their well stopped working. Everyone had to drink from contaminated rivers and reservoirs. But recently, thanks to Lifewater Canada donors, we rehabilitated the well including repairing its hand-powered pump. This has restored Kanyajwanga's source of safe water.
