A message from the community

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Due to water demands that greatly exceeded supplies, the hand pumps on both wells in Kpakuru village kept breaking down. Residents would have to walk to and from a distant river for their water. The daily journey involved various risks including snake bites and attacks by thieves, plus the fact the water brought home wasn't safe for human consumption. With the support of generous Lifewater donors, we drilled an additional well in Kpakuru. Today, there is safe water for everyone.
