Shaku Girikpa

I write to your great organization for your help rendered to our community. We are so grateful for the rehabilitation of our damaged well. For a very long time, people in Shaku Girikpa have been faced with the challenge of no good water. But with the intervention of your organization, we are happy to have this privilege again. With no local water source after the hand pump on their community well stopped working, the people of Shaku Girikpa could be seen walking each day to fetch water from a distant pond. The pond is so dirty that many residents (especially children) suffered from waterborne diseases. But thanks to our donors, Lifewater has installed a new hand pump on the well. Now there is enough safe and easily accessible water for everyone, resulting in improved health and children being in school much more consistently.
