Letter of Appreciation Thank you for the toilet you donated to our church and surrounding community. May God Almighty bless and protect you. Yours faithfully, Iliya Wangne Shuki, Community Leader
Residents of Ngazar village in the Akwanga area of Nasarawa State used to get their drinking water from the same creeks and rivers where their drank. Many people became sick after consuming this contaminated water. When we addressed the need by drilling wells in Ngazar, we noticed that local people risked contaminating their new well water by frequently resorting to open defecation. They did not have access to decent toilet facilities, which was contributing to the spread of bacterial diseases such as cholera, diarrhea, and polio. Lifwater, through our donors, built a community toilet and hand-washing station in Ngazar and provided health and sanitation training to local residents. Safe water and good health are now a reality in this community.
