Hanatu Dogo is from Kadara Farin Doki, where the hand-powered pump on the community well stopped working. "That left us us with a dirty and almost undrinkable water source that we had to share with domestic animals," Hanatu says. "Because of the terrible state of the water, visitations to the hospital became regular as residents frequently fell sick due to the intake or usage of the dirty water." Recently, with support from our generous donors, Lifewater visited the community, replaced the broken hand pump, and ensured the local well is producing consistently safe water again. Hannatu thanked Lifewater for coming to her village's aid, saying: "God bless Lifewater."
