A message from the community

Our community appreciates and thanks Lifewater for rehabilitating our damaged well in Shawakpa. -- Haruna Adamu, Community Leader

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Alhera Suleman says his community was hit hard after the hand pump on their local well stopped working. "We had to fetch from a stream where donkeys, cows, and other animals come to drink," he recalls. "As a result of this dirty water, our children become regularly sick, and were constant visitors to the hospital." Recently, with the support of our donors, Lifewater visited Shawakpa and replaced the broken hand pump. Grateful residents thanked Lifewater for rehabilitating their well and prayed that God would bless our donors.
