It was real struggle to stay healthy in Anguwan Dagachi Tunga Mallam, says community spokesperson Idris Umar, after the hand pump on the local well stopped working. "Getting access to clean water became difficult after the hand pump broke down," Idris recalls. "We had to walk far distances in search of water from a stream where the water is dirty and made the children have running stomach or diarrhea. We sincerely appreciate Lifewater's assistance in fixing our damaged pump and providing us with safe water once again. May God keep the organization going strong and providing for everyone."
