On behalf of Bonjah community, we wish to say thank you to Lifewater Canada and Lifewater Liberia for enabling us to easily have access to clean and safe drinking water through the rehabilitation of our broken down well. We are deeply thankful for you. ---Community Leaders
The well serving the people of Bonjah village was broken for a month, cutting off the supply of clean and safe drinking water. Long before the well's breakdown, the residents had been worried that they will have no well soon as it had deteriorated to a point repairs were not doing much to improve its situation. But Lifewater Canada ensured that the community did not lose the well altogether; by funding the rehabilitation of the well, including replacing the old hand pump with the new one. The people of Bonjah village are gratefully enjoying clean and safe drinking water from their rehabilitated well.
