Johnsonville Police Station Community

This water well is located is at the intersection of three major routes and is close to the Johnsonville administration office in Montserrsdo County. The residents in this rapidly growing area depended heavily on the well. Unfortunately, despite the fact it is located right beside the Johnsonville Police Station, someone stole the hand pump from it three years ago. The theft forced people to buy drinking water from local vendors and to walk about for about 45 minutes each way to collect water for their other needs. Therefore, the police and other people in the community were delighted when Lifewater, with support from our donors, arrived recently and repaired the broken hand pump so safe and accessible water could start flowing again. On behalf of everyone, Police Inspector Daved Nyumah extended many thanks to Lifewater and our donors for restoring their hope.
