A message from the community
We thank Lifewater Canada for the lessons on our health and hygiene. We feel so blessed to have learned new and efficient ways to treat water, and to take care of our water sources and ourselves. God bless you. -- Community Leaders.
Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)
The community of Caine Village has safe water, thanks to the repair of the hand pump on the local well through the generosity of Lifewater Canada donors in partnership with Service to Servants, a non-government organization in Liberia. However, residents still knew very little about Health and Hygiene. But through the further support of our donors, Service to Servants visited the community to teach children and adults the importance of health, hygiene, and sanitation. The lessons focused on personal hygiene and on protecting the environment, including water sources.
