A message from the community

We, the people of Dark Forest community, thank you for repairing our broken hand pump. It is our joy to finally access clean and safe water. May God bless you all. ---Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

The children and adults in Dark Forest Community struggled for months to acquire safe water after the hand-powered pumps on their local water wells failed. Everyone was forced to drink from dirty creeks or shallow hand-dug wells that are prone to contamination. Every resident was fearful of contracting waterborne diseases. Then Lifewater, through the support of our donors, visited the community, repaired the broken pumps (including this one), and restored the flow of safe, easily accessible water.
