A message from the community

We, the dwellers of Light Forest Field community, say thank you to Lifewater Canada for the repair of our hand pumps. We were unable to repair them ourselves so we are grateful for the help. ---Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Light Forest Field community's water wells were useless for several months after their hand-powered pumps stopped working. Children and adults were forced to gather water from creeks and open hand-dug wells. These sources are often contaminated so they put everyone at risk of contracting waterborne diseases. Recently, through the support of our generous donors, Lifewater visited the community and repaired the broken pumps (including this one). Everyone is happy and grateful to have access to safe water again.
