A message from the community
As a community, we would wish to express our gratitude to Lifewater Canada for the repair of our communal hand pump. The repair has improved our lives, thanks to easy access to clean and safe water. ---Community Leaders
Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)
Fanti Town's children and adults had no safe water after the hand pumps on their community wells stopped working. Everyone was forced to rely on shallow hand-dug wells that are often contaminated -- putting the population at risk of waterborne diseases. But recently, through the support of our donors, we visited Fanti Town and repaired the broken pumps (including this one). Now there is safe water available to everyone again.
