A message from the community

The school really appreciates all of your help in repairing of our school pump. We couldn’t have done it without your expert consulting services and team. Everything has finally come together and we are enjoying clean water.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Children began missing classes and women began missing income-earning time after the hand pump on the the well serving Kasang'any Primary School and the surrounding community stopped working and everyone -- the students and their parents -- had to go out in search of water.

The only available source was a dirty river five kilometres away. The walk to and from this source was time-consuming and tiring. And sadly, the water brought back was dirty so it caused young and old to become sick with diarrhea or other illnesses.

But recently, Lifewater and Stada,  non-profit organization in Kenya, visited Kasang'any Primary School and, thanks to our donors, repaired the broken pump. The grateful community has safe water again.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
