A message from the community
We, the Kakoth community, wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to Lifewater Canada for the blessing of a new well and a source of clean and safe water for consumption. Thank you for providing water for more than 100 households in the community. We promise to take care of the pump. God bless you.

Kakoth village in Kenya's Kisumu County has more than 400 residents. To meet their drinking and other household needs, they would make the long walk to and from the nearest river or buy water from private well owners in the region. These owners charge high prices that very few children and adults in Kakoth could afford. But now, thanks to our donors, Lifewater has drilled a well on public land in Kakoth that is providing safe and easily accessible water to everyone. Grateful residents described their new well as completely life-changing.
