A message from the community |

Dear Sir/Madame it very difficult for me to find a word to describe our gratitude to Lifewater for this kind gift. The community been suffered a lot for water. We wakeup everyday to walk a long way, sometimes we go early in the morning and back late that take lot of times in energy. Most of the students always arive late at school because they need to go get water before they go to school. The life was very difficult for us with out the well , now one of our top problems is resolved by Lifewater! We give our first thanks to the God, who brought Lifewater to Haiti to save the Haitian people. Garcon Renold Village representative |

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |

About 600 people live in this community with around 500 fetching water routinely from this new well. So much money will be saved as we no longer have to buy water (about 1000 goudes weekly, $10 CDN). Before the well was drilled we walked about 50 minutes every trip to a nearby pump and we made this journey 2x per day. |
