Mararaba Ga'te Gidan is an agrarian community in Nigeria's Nasarawa State. During the rainy season, the women in Mararaba Ga'te Gidan do not have any trouble searching for water because the streams and hand-dug wells are usually filled to the brim. However, this water is not clean and serious health conditions often develop among the residents. Also, after the rains, the streams run dry and residents start to wander from one community to another in search of water.
Through the assistance of Lifewater, the people of Mararaba Ga'te Gidan have two new wells (including this one) and lots of safe, accessible water. The community is grateful and praying that God blesses the donors.
