A message from the community

We want to say thank you for the repair of the hand pump on our community well that was not working. Thank you and God bless you.

Youth leader, Angwan Fadi

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Angwan Fadi is in Nigeria's Nasarawa State. Its well is about 14 years old. The community has tried its best to maintain and sustain its only source of safe drinking water over the years but to no avail. The well's Mark II hand pump was broken.

Faced with perennial water shortage, the residents have resorted to getting water from unsafe sources with adverse implications for their health. Thanks to Lifewater donors, we repaired their hand pump so safe water is flowing again.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
