We, the students of Yumbe Secondary Schook, wish to express our gratitude to Lifewater Canada and Lifewater RESCUE Kenya for ensuring we have access to clean water by fixing our broken hand pump. We thank you for your consideration. May God bless you all.
---School Leaders
Yumbe Secondary School in Mwingi region did not have a clean source of water for years, this was until Lifewater Canada funded the drilling of a new well in the school. The school well, fully equipped with hand pumps, supplies the students with clean and safe drinking water. However, recently, the well’s hand pump failed to work, forcing the students to collect unsafe water from a nearby river. But once again, Lifewater Canada donors ensured clean water is flowing in Yumbe Secondary School by funding the repair of the broken hand pump.
