On behalf of Ombaka Secondary School and the community, I take this opportunity to express my heartfelt appreciation to your organization for having drilled for us a borehole to completion. We are deeply humbled by your great gesture of kindness and support. The students of Ombaka Mixed Secondary School in Kisumu County would spend so much time out of school in search of drinking and cleaning water. The school did not have a source of water except for rainwater harvesting system. Although the system would supply students with clean water, it was for a short time before it dries up. However, Lifewater Canada and Stada Kenya partnered to drill a new well for the school and install a new hand pump. Every student in Ombaka Mixed Secondary School now has access to clean drinking water from the school well, a reliable source of water.
