A message from the community

We wish to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the family of Lifewater Canada for coming to our community to provide us a safe drinking water for our students. We thank you for the new well and the beautiful hand pump. May God bless you all. ---School Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Over six hundred students at Kigoche Primary School in Kisumu County could not afford clean and safe drinking water. This is because the clean drinking water was too expensive or too far from home that the students would often get water from the nearby rivers and swamps. The dirty sources of water would make them sick but they had no choice, until Lifewater Canada gave them a better option; Lifewater donors funded the construction of a new well and installation of a new hand pump in the school. The students are happy to have affordable clean and safe source of water.
