A message from the community

We write to say thank you lots for repairing our broken hand pump, and bringing our well back to life. We are happy to have access to clean and safe drinking water. ---Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

This well in Lehleh community was long forgotten after its hand pump broken down and for four years, the well was dormant. Residents had only one accessible source of water and that was the shallow well. The shallow well’s water was not safe for drinking but after four years without any access to clean water, the villager had lost hope in ever having easy access to clean water. But Lifewater gave them hope by funding the repair of the broken hand pump, and restoring the flow of easily accessible water in Lehleh community.
