Everyone of the two hundred residents of Soi Kolweny village was collecting water from a dirty river. This is because the hand pump on the village well stopped working and the residents could not afford to buy clean water. So, Lifewater made clean water affordable to the villagers by fixing the broken hand pump, thus making clean water from the well easily accessible.
