Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)
Residents of Kyamwonye community had no access to clean and safe drinking and washing water, after the hand pump on their well stopped working. The residents would collect water from wells they hand dug in dry rivers beds, but even reaching the wells was always a struggle as it involves long walks in the hot sun. However, our donors enabled us to repair the broken hand pump, therefore giving the residents of Kyamwonye access to clean drinking water.
