A message from the community

We feel so grateful to be able to collect water from our one broken well. The hand pump repair has made it easier for us to access clean and safe drinking water, and even easier to collect water for that matter. Thank you all so much.

The community of Katanga in Mwingi would still collect water even though their hand pump was broken. But it took long to collect the water because instead of collecting clean drinking water from the nearby community well, they were forced to walk for hours to collect water from shallow wells in dry riverbeds. Thankfully, Lifewater Canada funded the repair of the
