A message from the community

We, the people of Melekie community, write to thank you Lifewater Canada and Service to Servants for the repair of our broken hand pumps. We are so blessed that we now have access to clean and safe drinking water. ---Community Leaders


Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

The hand pump on the well in Melekie village may have broken down for a month, but the suffering amongst the residents felt like years, because they faced a serious struggle to collect clean water, to a point in most cases they would settle for unsafe sources of water. However, Lifewater Canada repaired the broken handpump, giving the residents access to clean and safe drinking and washing water.
