Thanks to our donors, everyone in Seventh Day Adventist Church Withur community in Kisumu County now has access to clean and safe drinking water. The residents would collect water from a swamp in the village, a dirty source that put their lives at risk of catching disease. While residents were aware of the risks of drinking from the swamp, they could not afford a clean source of water. The dirty swamp was all they got. But then, Lifewater Canada constructed a new well in the St James Seventh Day Adventist Church Withur community and installed a new hand pump. The grateful villagers are happily drinking from the village well.
