A message from the community

We bring you greetings from our end, and hope that you are in the best of health. On behalf of our community dwellers, we extend thanks and appreciation to Lifewater donors for sending the repair team, to service our damage hand pump, that had been down for couple of months. Thankfully, we are as dwellers of the above-mentioned town for restoring back our safe water source again. May God continue to bless your organization as you continue to aid this great nation mama Liberia. Thanks. Respectfully yours, Rommina Yah

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Residents of Sanoyea Road community in Liberia's Lower Bong county struggled to collect clean and safe drinking water after the hand pumps on the wells serving the villagers stopped working. They would collect unsafe water from nearby creeks such as shallow wells. The villagers would report feeling unwell after consuming water from unsafe sources. However, Lifewater Canada and Service to Servants repaired the broken hand pumps, giving villagers access to clean and safe drinking and washing water.
