A message from the community

We bring you greetings from our end, and hope that you are in the best of health. On behalf of our community dwellers, we extend thanks and appreciation to Lifewater donors for sending the repair team, to service our damage hand pump, that had been down for couple of months. Thankfully, we are as dwellers of the above-mentioned town for restoring back our safe water source again. May God continue to bless your organization as you continue to aid this great nation mama Liberia. Thanks. Respectfully yours, Rommina Yah

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

When the hand pump on the well serving Sanoyea Road community stopped working, the residents struggled to fight water-borne diseases that were rampant in the village as the villagers were drinking from a dirty open well. To win the battle against the water-borne diseases, Lifewater and Service to Servants fixed the community's broken hand pump, thus restoring the flow of clean and safe water in the community while curbing the spread of fatal diseases.
