Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

The trip to collect water from a nearby creek has always been a long and tiresome one. The villagers would walk for longer distances in the hot sun to collect water from a creek whose water was not safe for drinking. The trips were long and the water brought home had the potential of making people sick, but still, the villagers relied on their communal well. All of these struggles were ocasioned by failure of the hand pumps in Gbamokollie community. Thankfully, our donors enabled us to visit the village of Gbamokollie and repair the broken hand pumps, so clean and safe water is easily accessible in Gbamokollie community.
