Ebbo resident Salihu Haruna vividly recalls this struggle. "Our major challenge... was lack of water," he explains, expressing deep gratitude for Lifewater's intervention. Before their arrival, the search for water was a perilous task, especially for the most vulnerable. "Our wives and children risk their lives... The road to our stream isn’t secured for children." This daily journey was fraught with danger, consuming precious time and energy. The arrival of Lifewater and the provision of a new borehole have brought profound change. "I am so relieved that our children will longer have to do that because we now have clean safe water in the community," Salihu exclaims, his relief palpable. This simple act has not only provided a fundamental necessity but has also removed a significant burden of risk and worry. "Thank you for helping our community... we are so grateful for your timely assistance," Salihu concludes, his words echoing the community's heartfelt appreciation.
