My name is Yakubu Auta, I reside here in Korok II. Here in Koroko II, we had long struggled with poor sanitation due to the lack of proper toilet facilities. Open defecation was common, leading to health issues and environmental pollution. The community faced frequent outbreaks of diseases like cholera and typhoid, which disproportionately affected children and the elderly. When Lifewater stepped in, they brought hope and change. The organization constructed modern toilet facilities equipped with handwashing stations, ensuring that the community could maintain hygiene and sanitation. The impact was immediate. Health improved, and the environment became cleaner and safer. Before, we had no choice but to use the bushes. It was unsafe and unhealthy. Now, with this new toilet, our children are healthier, and our community feels dignified. Thank you, Lifewater, for this blessing.
