The hand pump on Hammer Field community's well stopped working and the flow of clean water also stopped. The villagers would struggle to collect clean water for their families as the community well was the only source of clean water. Because clean water was not affordable, the residents of Hammer Field resorted to drinking from unsafe sources. But thanks to Lifewater Canada donors, we have replaced the hand pump and rehabilitated the well so safe, affordable water is flowing again in Hammer Field community.
