A well in Zeewhorr community in Liberia's Lower Margibi County was the only hoped for source of clean and safe drinking water, but the villagers had no means to have a well in their community. The men and women of Zeewhorr were forced to drink and wash from unsafe sources of water such as shallow wells and creeks, both are contaminated sources that exposed residents to water-related diseases. However, Lifewater Canada and Lifewater Liberia gave community hope by constructing a new well in their community and even installing a hand pump. Clean and safe water is now flowing in Zeewhorr community.
