Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

The Capstone Model Academy had been struggling with a significant water crisis, a challenge that deeply affected its pupils and created an unbearable learning environment. For Bitrus Tam, a member of the school community, the signs of this struggle were everywhere: pupils suffering to get water, and a compound plagued by dust and poor hygiene. "Pupils coughed constantly, and sicknesses like diarrhea were frequent," Bitrus recounted, highlighting the pervasive health issues. The lack of water meant their toilets were "permanently locked," leading to further unsanitary conditions. However, Lifewater's arrival brought a profound and unprecedented change to their circumstances in a way that touched every aspect of school life. "When Lifewater brought us a well, everything changed," Bitrus shared, his voice filled with immense gratitude. The impact of Lifewater's efforts has been truly remarkable for Capstone Model Academy. With a new, functional well, the daily struggle for water is now a distant memory. Children can now clean their hands, flush the toilets, and even mop their classrooms after closing, fostering a much healthier and cleaner environment. This has led to a significant drop in the rate of illness among pupils. Beyond basic hygiene, the availability of water has even allowed them to irrigate flowers, adding beauty and life to their surroundings. "Our lives have greatly been transformed, and we owe Lifewater for the transformation," Bitrus emphasized. "Your kindness has left a permanent mark in our lives. May the Lord plant joy and peace in every corner of your lives. Thank you so much Lifewater." The well has not only provided a vital resource but has also brought health, dignity, and a renewed sense of possibility to the entire Capstone Model Academy community
