A message from the community

The people of Kowai town, write with great pleasure in expressing our heartfelt gratitude to you STS Lifewater repair team, for timely coming to our aid, in terms of the repaired done on our broken hand pumps that had been down for days. The dwellers of the town express thankfulness, for restoring back our safe water sources that is now seeking the safe needs of every dwellers in the town again. Children began missing classes and women began missing income-earning time after the hand pump on Kowai Town Community School well stopped working and they had to go out in search of water. The only available source was a dirty open well about a kilometer away. The walk to and from this source was time-consuming and tiring. And sadly, the water brought home to families was dirty so it caused children and adults to become sick with diarrhea or other illnesses. But recently, Lifewater and Service to Servants visited Kowai Town Community School and, thanks to our donors, repaired the broken hand pump. The grateful community has safe water again.
