A message from the community

On behalf of United Methodist Compound community, we wish to thank you for the repair of our village hand pumps. Both wells are now functional and we are enjoying clean and safe water. Thanks lots. ---Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

This is one of the two wells serving United Methodist Compound community. When the hand pump on the first well stopped working, the villagers turned to this other hand pump, and because of the growing population, the water was barely enough for everyone. Increasing pressure on the pump led it to fail. The villagers would then start drinking from the creeks. But not anymore, because Lifewater Canada repaired the broken hand pumps, including this one. The villagers are enjoying clean and safe water from both wells.
