People living and studying in Light Christian Institute did not have access to clean water, the institute's only accessible source of water was an open shallow well. For years, the students would drink and wash from the shallow well, all the while running the risk of catching waterborne diseases, which was so frequent. However, Lifewater Canada and Lifewater Liberia drilled a new well in Light Christian Institute, and even installed a new hand pump. Because of the generosity of our donors, everyone in Light Christian Institute community has access to clean and safe drinking water.
