The only reason the hand pump in Kugbemai community was not working is because of its broken hand pump. The community was forced to stop drinking from a clean source of water, and to start collecting water from a clean source of water. However, Lifewater Canada and Lifewtaer Liberia replaced the community's broken hand pump, and even rehabilitated the well. Clean and safe water is now flowing in Kugbemai community.
