Water from a dirty creek was the only option for the children and adults living in Kugbemai village. Everyone knew the open well water might make them sick with diarrhea and other illnesses, but they had no choice. Then our donors enabled Lifewater to visit Kugbemai village, construct a new well (including a new hand pump) and give the grateful community access to clean and safe water.
