Calvary Greetings: We officially write to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to you and the donors for the hand pump that you provided for the church, school and the entire community members. The church and the school including the community have been suffering from quality drinking water over the years. Your timely intervention will improve the quality of life within the community and also prevent the outbreak of water borne diseases like: Typhoid, diarrhea & cholora. Residents of Kabata community know quite well the signs and symptoms of diseases such as cholera and typhoid, because these diseases were a constant in their lives. This is because they would drink and wash from unsafe sources of water which then infected them with water-related diseases. Thankfully, Lifewater Canada and Lifewater Liberia funded the drilling of a new well in Kabata community and installed a new hand pump, thus giving the residents a chance to enjoy easy access to clean and safe drinking water.
