Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

For years, the residents of Silver Beach town would wash and drink from a nearby open hand dug well. Access to clean and safe drinking water was a big problem for majority of the residents, because the source of clean water was either too far away or too expensive. Thankfully, Lifewater Canada and Lifewater Liberia worked together to make clean water accessible in the community by constructing a new well in Silver Beach town and, installing a new hand pump. The communal well is now supplying clean and safe drinking water to more than three hundred residents.
