We wish to say a big thank you to Lifewater Canada and Lifewater RESCUE Kenya for the rehabilitation of our broken hand pump, and for giving u access to clean and safe drinking water. We thank you for your service to our community. ---Community Leaders
The community of Kakunguu in Mwingi region would drink and wash from a dry riverbed. The villagers were forced to rely on the wells in the nearby seasonal rivers because their village well stopped working again. The dilapidated well left the villagers relying more on the and dug wells in dry riverbeds instead of the well, this is because the well was more dormant that it was functional. But then, Lifewater Canada and Lifewater RESCUE Kenya rehabilitated the broken down well, so clean and safe water is now flowing in Kakunguu village.
