The girls and women attending The Light of Christ Ministry and living in the area around it were tasked with walking to and from the nearest river to collect water for their families. It was a tiring job each day, and also a discouraging one because the water they brought home was contaminated and therefore capable of making family members very sick. But through the support of our generous donors, Lifewater recently drilled a well in The Light of Christ Ministry that is providing an abundance of safe and convenient water.
